Affix attested photo means you have to sign on your photo with date and stick to the place where photo is required.

You are unable to edit it online once you have paid. Visit the passport office on the scheduled day, and a will be given to you at the reception desk. You will then be directed to counter where your biometrics will be taken. Ask him to correct any entries, and he will make the necessary changes.
