Missouri prisoners are allowed by law to get married, but that right is more on paper than it is in reality: Prisoners aren't able to get the marriage license they need to tie the knot because they're unable to visit the recorder of deeds in person, which is a requirement under Missouri law.

You must be pre-approved to visit. To be considered for visiting, please complete the visiting application thoroughly and honestly, using the instructions provided. A criminal history check will be conducted. Failure to be honest and transparent may result in denial of visiting privileges.

Complete the Visitation Application Form (DC6-111A) for approval (either English or Spanish page). Application Requirements: Application must be completed by all visitors 12 years of age or older. Application must be filled out completely or it will be denied.

Previous charges may or not preclude you from visiting, but omitting them on your application will be an automatic denial. It is important you are completely honest regarding your arrest history. The review and approval process could take 4-6 weeks.

Some cases may allow visitors, usually if they are on a list of approved visitors to that inmate and there is no suspicion that the visit will pose a threat to the safety or security of the public generally speaking.

Basically the drug purchaser will contact someone outside of prison and have that person send money to a person's address provided by the drug seller. That way their is no institution paper trail for the money. This is more often done when large amounts of money are being dealt with.

A visitor will not be permitted to be on more than one inmate's approved visiting record unless they are immediate family members. If you are already on the approved list of a non-family member, you may be added to the list of a family member.
