Alter Chart Release For Free

Have you tried running "helm list" to see all the release names? If you don't have too many releases or pods you might be able to find your release name by comparing with the chart name.

--timeout : A Go duration value to wait for Kubernetes commands to complete. This defaults to 5m0s .

ReleaseName is the name you assigned to this installation instance. RevisionNumber is the value from the Helm history command. Namespace is the name space in which the BRM Kubernetes objects reside.

The closest answer we got was to delete the release and it again with the correct name.

TIP: The name: field is limited to 63 characters because of limitations to the DNS system. For that reason, release names are limited to 53 characters. Kubernetes 1.3 and earlier limited to only 24 characters (thus 14 character names).

A manifest is a YAML-encoded representation of the Kubernetes resources that were generated from this release's chart(s). If a chart is dependent on other charts, those resources will also be included in the manifest. helm get manifest RELEASE_NAME [flags]

Helm deploys charts, which you can think of as a packaged application. It is a collection of all your versioned, pre-configured application resources which can be deployed as one unit. You can then deploy another version of the chart with a different set of configuration.

When a new version of a chart is released, or when you want to change the configuration of your release, you can use the helm upgrade command. An upgrade takes an existing release and upgrades it according to the information you provide.
