Custom Header # Custom headers allow site owners to upload their own title image to their site, which can be placed at the top of certain pages. These can be customized and cropped by the user through a visual editor in the Appearance > Header section of the admin panel.

In the Home pane, double-click HTTP Response Headers. In the HTTP Response Headers pane, click Add... in the Actions pane. In the Add Custom HTTP Response Header dialog box, set the name and value for your custom header, and then click OK.

Custom HTTP headers are commonly meant to provide additional information that may be pertinent to a web developer, or for troubleshooting purposes. These headers often times begin with X- , however, we'll discuss naming convention further on.

Disable Globally If you want to remove the page header from ALL pages, posts and archives on the site you can do so via the Customizer at Appearance > Customize > General Options > Page Title and set the style to hidden.

Edit your existing headers and footersDouble-click the header or footer you want to edit, or select Header or Footer, and then select Edit Header or Edit Footer.Add or change text for the header or footer or do any of the following:When you're done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.

Change the header manually:Go to "Themes" section and click "Customize."Choose "Site title, tagline, and Logo" section or just press the title.Type in an edited title and tick the Display Header Text box."Save changes" and restart the page.8 Apr 2021

Edit header options for my WordPress siteSign in to WordPress.In the left-hand menu, select Appearance > Customize.Select Site Identity or Header > Site Identity. You will see options to edit the logo, site title, tagline, and site icon.Select Publish to apply the changes.
