Tax Account Transcript - shows basic data such as filing status, adjusted gross income, taxable income, and payment types. It also shows changes made after you filed your original return.

The IRS transcript will also tell us if you filed a return, when it was filed, and if there have been any changes made to your account by audit. The amount of tax owed from your return filing, or from audit, will also be shown.

You can access your federal tax account through a secure login at IRS.gov/account. Once in your account, you can view the amount you owe along with details of your balance, view 18 months of payment history, access Get Transcript, and view key information from your current year tax return.

The Transcript editor can be accessed either from the Media tile menu in your content library or from the Media Details page. If system and course settings allow it, it may also be accessible from the Class list by clicking the video icon.
