When can I upgrade my device? You can upgrade your device after you've paid off at least half of its value. If you're enrolled in the Spectrum Mobile Protection Plan, there's no additional upgrade fee.

If you've paid for your new device in full, the trade-in credit will be refunded to your credit card within two billing cycles. Otherwise, a monthly credit will be applied to your Device Payment Plan in equal parts over the duration of the plan, starting within two billing cycles.

You can return or exchange your Spectrum Mobile device and/or unopened accessories within 14 days from when your items shipped or were purchased from a Spectrum Mobile store.

Replace Your Device To order a new device, please contact us (833) 224-6603. Replacement devices aren't available online.

Spectrum Mobile devices are covered under a 12-month manufacturer warranty. If your device stops working properly, you may qualify for a replacement.

Upgrade Your Spectrum Mobile Device To qualify for an early upgrade, you must have paid off more than half of the total value of your current Spectrum phone. Please take note that early upgrades are not available for Spectrum stores that offer the Spectrum BYOD option.

When you upgrade to a new device, you'll need to start a new Device Payment Plan. If you're enrolled in the Spectrum Mobile Protection Plan, there's no additional fee to upgrade your smartphone or tablet. For those without the Spectrum Mobile Protection Plan, an upgrade fee of $45 will apply.

If you're replacing a device on an existing line of service, you can continue to use your Spectrum Mobile SIM card in the new device.

To cancel your Spectrum service, contact Spectrum at +1-833-267-6094 or through Spectrum.net and confirm the breakup. As always, the most difficult part will be returning the other party's stuff. Spectrum equipment can be sent back via UPS, FedEx, or in person at a Spectrum store.
