When you are referencing the same source in two (or more) footnotes the second and subsequent references should be entered as "Ibid." and the page number for the relevant footnote. Use "Ibid." without any page number if the page is the same as the previous reference. Example footnotes:Ibid., 72.

When writing a law review article, insert citations as FOOTNOTES. Do not insert the citation into the text, like when you are writing a brief. (Although on occasion it may be appropriate to cite to a case in the text.) For this class, it is best to use parallel citations.
