Append Table Of Contents Invoice For Free

Word count includes everything in the main body of the text (including headings, tables, citations, quotes, lists, etc). The list of references, appendices and footnotes2 are NOT included in the word count unless it is clearly stated in the coursework instructions that the module is an exception to this rule.

From the References tab (and next to the Insert Caption.. button), click the Insert Table of Figures button. In the window that appears, select "Appendix Figure" from the "Caption label:" list. Click OK.

Then go to the INSERT tab, click Quick Parts, and Field. Then scroll down and click TC. Type the name of the subsection, then check TC entry in doc with multiple tables. This will add a switch to the code ? the \f switch ? that enables us to add multiple Tables of Contents.

O If you only have one appendix, it will be titled ?Appendix? in the Table of Contents and the text. If you have two or more appendices, each should be titled an identifier and label.

The appendices follow the reference list. They are lettered "Appendix A," "Appendix B," "Appendix C," and so forth. If you have only one appendix, however, simply label it Appendix. Put figures and tables in separate appendices.

The appendix is supplemental material added to a paper to aid the reader in understanding your points, but can't easily be worked into the text. If you choose to include an appendix in your paper, it should be at the end of your paper after the References page.

Put your cursor where you want to add the table of contents. Go to References > Table of Contents. and choose an automatic style. If you make changes to your document that affect the table of contents, update the table of contents by right-clicking the table of contents and choosing Update Field.
