Arrange Bullets Bulletin For Free

Click one of the bullets at the level you want to change in the document. Right-click the bullet and select Adjust List Indents in the pop-up menu. In the Adjust List Indents window, change the Bullet position to adjust the bullet indent size or change the Text indent to adjust the text indent size after a bullet.

A quick tip on a discovery I just made: You can quickly reorder bullet points in Microsoft Word putting the caret in the bulleted item to be reordered (i.e. click on the item), and then use Alt+Shift+UpArrow or Alt+Shift+DownArrow to reorder the selected item within the list of bullet points.

Click anywhere inside of the paragraph in which you want to align your bulleted list. Click the dialog launcher in the lower-right corner of the Paragraph section of the Home tab to open the Paragraph dialog box. Note the number in the Before Text box in the Indentation section. Click "OK" to close the dialog.
