Assemble Number Settlement For Free

If you need more settlements, you have to upgrade some to cities. As soon as you upgrade one settlement to a city, the settlement returns to your supply. The same goes for roads and cities, they too run out.

In the standard version of Settlers of Catan, when one builds a city, the settlement that was in its place is returned to your potential buildings. This means that you can build a total of 9 buildings (5 settlements and 4 cities) in a game.

There are four colors (red, blue, orange, white), each player needs to choose theirs. Give that player their sack of pieces which include roads, settlements and cities. Next put out the five resource cards, put them in stacks around the board for easy access.

ANY SEVEN- You can bet Any Seven (Big Red) on any roll of the dice. If the 7 is rolled you will be paid 4 to 1 and your bet left up; if any other number is rolled you lose. ANY CRAPS - You can bet on Any Craps at any time; The bet wins if 2, 3, or 12 rolls and will be paid 7 to 1.

When a player places his second settlement, he receives one resource from each hex touching that settlement. These (up to three) resources are that player's starting resource hand.

Get your first resource cards. After all players have placed both of their settlements and roads, you all get some resource cards to start. Take one resource card for each hex tile that is adjacent to each of your two settlements.

Each player has a supply of 15 roads, 5 settlements, and 4 cities. If you build a city, return the settlement to your supply. Roads and cities, however, remain on the board until the end of the game once they are built. Your turn is over after building, and the player to your left continues the game.

5. When a player rolls 7, any player with eight or more cards must discard half of their Resource Cards. The discarded cards from all players go into a single pile of cards (similar to free parking in the game Monopoly). Players then roll to win the pile.

If a 2 or 12 is rolled, it counts as both a 2 and 12. If a die rolls off the table, re-roll! Whenever you place a settlement or city you get a development card.

Only one settlement or city can be at each intersection, and only one road can be on each path.That rule states that settlements must be at least two intersections away from any other settlement or city. In other words, settlements cannot be built one space away from another settlement or city.
