Assignment Remove Date Field For Free

The due date is the date and time when the assignment is due. Student assignments submitted after the due date will be marked as late in the Gradebook. Due Dates are not required in Canvas, but they are helpful in managing course workflow and deadlines. You can also set a specific time as part of the due date.

To delete an assignment, from its context menu, click Delete Assignment. Click Delete.

Click the Edit button in the upper right of the screen to enter into that assignment's settings. Scroll down on the Assignment Settings page until you reach the Assign menu. This menu allows you to adjust availability settings and the due date(s) for the assignment in question.

Once a file has been successfully submitted to an assignments, you can't delete it. However, if you have the ability to make another submission, re-submit the file and make sure to also contact your instructor and let them know that you are re-submitting a file to the assignment.

Navigate to the General channel in the desired classroom and then select Assignments. You can also use your search bar to search for an assignment by keyword. Select the assignment you'd like to edit, then Edit assignment. Make the changes you need. Select Update to save your changes.

Find the class with the assignment you want to delete. Click on the assignment you want to delete. Click Delete assignment from the menu on the right. In the pop-up window, click on the "Yes, delete" button and you're done!
