By default, Formstack forms take up one column. However, you can change this by clicking on the Form Extras tab at the top of your screen when on the Build tab of the form. Under layout, you can choose the number of columns you want your form to have. You can have anywhere from one to four columns on your form.

Step 1: Set Number of Columns To select the number of columns you want your online form to have, go into your form and take the following actions: Scroll to Form Extras on the left side of the builder. Locate the Columns area and choose your desired number of columns from the dropdown list.

Sections are created the same way as fields by dragging and dropping the field into the form but they can only be added to the top or bottom of the form in progress or above or below an existing section.
