Are you dialing from an Android device, an iOS device, or your trusty old landline? Well, no matter which one, *67 is your ticket to making anonymous outgoing calls, ensuring your caller ID is a mystery to your call recipient.

Block calls from your phone You can: Press *61 to add the number of the last call received to your call block list. Press *80 to turn call blocking off.

Use *67. This trick works for smartphones and landlines. Open your phone's keypad and dial * - 6 - 7, followed by the number you're trying to call. The free process hides your number, which will show up on the other end as ?Private? or ?Blocked? when reading on caller ID.

If there's a phone number you'd like to block, Spectrum Voice customers can use the Block Unwanted Callers feature.

On a per-call basis, you can't beat *67 at hiding your number. This works for all smartphones and landlines. To use it, open your phone's keypad and dial * ? 6 ? 7, followed by the number you're trying to call. That's it!

To block unwanted callers: Sign in. Select Home Phone at the top right. You'll be taken to the Voice Online Manager platform. Select Settings. Choose Privacy on the left. The menu will expand. Select Block Unwanted Callers. Select the On button. Enter the phone number(s) you want to block. Select Save.

How to Block Phone Numbers on a Landline Pick up your receiver and dial *60. You'll hear a message that will walk you through how to block a number. To block the most recent call, dial #01# To block another number, dial #, then the number (including the area code), followed by #. ?

TIPS FOR AT&T CUSTOMERS: AT&T Phone (home phone) customers can block unwanted calls from up to 100 numbers by pressing *61 after their most recent unwanted incoming call. Customers can also set up and edit a call block list online through their "myAT&T account."
