When creating a field in a GoCanvas App, you have the option to make it Required, meaning the person filling out the Submission won't be able to proceed to the next screen without providing the required field with an entry.

When you make a field required, people must enter an answer to the field in order to submit their entry. When someone tries to submit an entry without filling out a required field, we highlight the problematic fields and display an error message to let them know the field is required.

Click your avatar on the right-top corner > navigate to Settings > Customization > Mandatory fields.

It means that you haven't filled in every required field. The system will not save the page until you fill in the necessary details. Once the information is complete, you'll be able to save your ad and run it. Hope this helps!

To set an existing field as Mandatory,Select the Form from the Dashboard in Edit mode.Select the field to be edited.Select Field Properties from the right pane and select the checkbox Mandatory.The changes made will be auto-saved.

You can make a field mandatory while creating or editing a field under Admin Setting. Making a field mandatory requires the user to enter a value while saving a record. This feature is available for Lead, Contact, Account and Deal fields.

Mandatory fields are marked with a field status indicator before the label. A mandatory field that is pre-populated by the platform with default data, such as a value from a client script, does not display the indicator. If you delete this value from the field, however, the indicator appears.
