Physical Presence is the actual time when the parent was physically present in the United States. This means that any travel outside the United States, including vacation, should be excluded. To pass the test, you must spend more than 330 full days overseas within a rolling 12-month period. Pay attention to that ?full day? requirement of the 330-day rule ? it can trip up unsuspecting expats who haven't tracked their time properly.
