We give your BluePrint engine the industry's best-in-class warranty for 30 months / 50,000 miles ? with the extra confidence only BluePrint can provide. Our warranty applies to individual or professional installations, is fully transferable, and covers engines worldwide.

6-8 month lead time.

The recommended way to pre-lube your new blueprint engine is to remove the spark plugs and spin the engine over for several seconds to build up oil pressure and distribute oil throughout the engine. This break-in oil can be used for the first 500 miles, during the break-in of your new crate engine.

This means hand building an engine with perfectly fit components using maximum and minimum recommended clearances. These specifications are determined by following the racing series rule book very carefully, making sure that every specification is met to allow the engine to pass a tech inspection.

GM Performance crate engines are covered under the provisions of the GM Dealer Service Parts and Accessories Warranty for 24 months from the original sale or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Each BluePrint shortblock engine assembly includes the block assembled with crank, rods, pistons, freeze plugs, oil galley plugs, and installed cam bearings and features internal components. This option is perfect if you have already invested in a good set of heads, camshaft, and intake that you wish to utilize!
