Thankfully, Google Forms saves us from the prospect of filling long and dull forms with its conditional logic feature. This simple feature liberates you from complex processes.Quite obviously, conditional logic in Google Forms works only for questions with dropdowns and multiple choice options.

Conditional forms work by creating fields that are dependent on the answers of at least one or more fields. Therefore if the user selects option A in the first question, then they see different fields in the form than if they selected option B. Add all the appropriate fields to your form.

Conditional Logic is a form builder feature that lets you easily show or hide form fields based on how someone responds to other fields on the form. It can be thought of as conditional branching, where certain fields will branch from others based on the conditions you set.

Example. Conditional Statement: If today is Wednesday, then yesterday was Tuesday. Hypothesis: If today is Wednesday so our conclusion must follow Then yesterday was Tuesday. So the converse is found by rearranging the hypothesis and conclusion, as Math Planet accurately states.

To add conditions to a form field, click on the field to view the display settings. The "Show field only when conditions are met" option will be toggled off by default. When you toggle on that option, you can add a new condition by choosing the field, operator, and comparison value.

For example, in the text field, the conditional logic is checking the actual text in that field. If the field type is a checkbox, the conditional logic is checking if the box is checked or not checked. After choosing the field, if the field meets this condition, you can create a new branch for that conditional logic.

Conditional Logic, when applied to the form or page button or to any field, controls the visibility of that element based on a choice selected or value entered by the user in other fields on the form. It can also be used to determine if a notification, confirmation or add-on feed should be used.
