Chart Footnote Affidavit For Free

The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (hereinafter referred as CPC) under Section 30(c) provides that the Court has power to direct any party to prove any fact by an affidavit, either suo motto or on application of the other party. Under Order XIX of the CPC, the rules pertaining to affidavit has been prescribed.

In footnote text, use ordinary roman/plain text for case names in a full citation or for case names in a short citation when both parties are referenced. However, in the short cite format when only one party is referenced, italicize the case name. Also, in footnote text, italicize procedural phrases in the case name.

To cite a footnote, give the page on which the footnote appears, ?n.,? and the footnote number, with no space between ?n.? and the number. Example 1: Green v. Georgia, 442 U.S. 95, 97.

Step 3: Write an opening sentence in the first person tense. Step 4: Make an outline of the information given or state the facts of the case.
