Chart Line Title For Free

Axis titles are words or phrases that describe the entire axis. Markers identify data points. You can put markers on all data points in a series or on only selected data points. Grid lines are horizontal or vertical lines that extend from the axis ticks.

A title should be placed at the top of the graph if the graph is to be placed in the laboratory notebook. This helps the reader immediately know what the graph is. The title should be a concise description of what is being graphed (e. g., Pressure as a Function of Temperature for Nitrogen).

You can specify a metadata title and primary and secondary axis titles, to identify the data that is displayed on the axes of your chart. You can also specify font options, including font size, color, and font angle. You can label your metadata using the same formatting options.

All graphs, diagrams and images should be titled as Figures. These will be numbered consecutively throughout the dissertation: Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, and so on. After the numbering, there should be a short and concise title. Titles for figures appear below the figure itself.

To make a chart easier to understand, you can add chart title and axis titles, to any type of chart. Axis titles are typically available for all axes that can be displayed in a chart, including depth (series) axes in 3-D charts.

Graph Title: The title appears at the top of the graph and should describe the graph. Axis Labels: The labels that appear along the x and y-axes describing what is being measured.

The ChartTitle is a content control placed at the top of each chart control. It is used to display any title information regarding the visualized chart.
