You can text something such as: "Can't wait to see you tomorrow night." "Looking forward to dinner tomorrow night." "Checking in to make sure we're still on for tomorrow night."

Without a doubt, you should always try and confirm a date by message or text. Never call and ask. It's too embarrassing if they say no, and they might also feel like they have to agree when they don't really want to. We don't mean to sound negative, but messages are best.

You cannot. There is no search by date option. The best that you can do is scroll backward through your messages (if you kept each).

Use the straightforward approach. The day of the date, you can text something as simple as, ?Hey, I just wanted to confirm that we're still on for tonight!? That's about as neutral and un-needy as you can get! It also assumes the best (that you are indeed still on for tonight).

Open the Messages app. At the top of the screen, type your search word or term in the Search field. You'll see options to search your Conversations. Tap See All to get a list of messages containing your search word or term.

You can hover your mouse pointer over a given message, and the date of the message will float above it. If you are using Messages on an iPhone, you will not be able to use Spotlight Search. Instead, your best option will be to use keyword searches from the search box inside your Messages list. Hope that helps!

Searching iMessage by Date Open the iMessage app on your device. Swipe down the conversation list so the search box appears at the top. Enter the phone number/keywords into the search box.
