Check Dropdown Contract For Free

We can get a selected option in a dropdown in Selenium webdriver. The method getFirstSelectedOption() returns the selected option in the dropdown. Once the option is fetched we can apply getText() method to fetch the text.

If you want to make any changes to the drop-down box, just select it while in Developer Mode and click "Properties" again. Select "Content control can't be deleted" to ensure readers cannot delete the drop-down box or its options. Don't select the "Contents cannot be edited" option.

Select original = new Select(originalDropdown); We have to get all the values present in the dropdown to compare the values. So use getOptions() methods from Select class object. getOptions() method will return the list of options/values present in the dropdown.
