Check Page Break Form For Free

You can't! You can't insert a section break in a layout document because layout documents don't have sections; each page it its own section. See Creating Sections: In a page layout document, each page is one section. You can use the predefined sections as they are, or you can modify or remove them one page at a time.

Viewing page breaksClick the Home tab in the Ribbon.Click Show/Hide ¶ in the Paragraph group Paragraph marks, tabs, spacing and manual page breaks will display but will not print.

On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Show/Hide to show all formatting marks including page breaks. Double-click the page break to select it, then press Delete.

Tap where you want the break to occur. in the shortcut bar above the keyboard, then tap Line Break or Page Break. If you don't see Page Break, your document is a page layout document and doesn't use page breaks. Instead, you can add a new page.

To remove a page break you added in manually, click the Home tab. Click Show/Hide ¶ to display the page breaks in your document. Find the manual page break you want to remove and double click the page break to highlight it. Finally, hit the Delete or Backspace key to remove it.

Click Home, and then click Show/Hide to show section breaks and paragraph marks.

Scroll down until you see the Page Layout options (Compatibility Options in Word 2019 and Word in Office 365). It is at the very bottom of the dialog box; you may need to click the arrow at the left side of the options to see them all. Make sure the Split Apart Page Break and Paragraph Mark check box is selected.
