Click the green "Share" button in the upper right corner of the Google Sheet. Type the email address for the person with whom you'd like to share the sheet and assign permissions from the drop down to the right. Optionally, add a note and make sure the "Notify people" box is checked.

Right click on the document/file who's owner you want to discover, and select View details. (If you don't see the option in the menu, chances are the detail pain is already open.) In the Information Pane on the right side of your screen you'll see the file details including the owner of the document.

To make it so only you can share:Open the homescreen for Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Slides.Click Share or Share .At the top, click Settings .Uncheck Editors can change permissions and share.Click Done.

You can do this by going to Data > Protected Sheets and Ranges > Sheet > Set Permissions, and in the following window, choose who you want to have editing permissions (optional). Remember that the Editing permission can be given or revoked in the Custom option.

Another way to remove restricted access on Excel is by selecting the Change Permission option on the yellow bar at the top of the workbook. Note that you can only restrict access to an Excel file if you're the one who created it.
