To apply for a child care voucher, fill out an Child Care Assistance Application Package form and submit with a Housing Questionnaire and all other required documentation. If eligible, you will be issued a voucher which you'll complete and return to ACS.

What is the ABC program? The ABC Child Care Program helps eligible low-income families pay for child care so that they can work or go to school or training. Families may choose care from a full range of public and private child care options centers, schools, group homes, family homes, friends and relatives.

The Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) program is a new affordable housing program serving low-income families across the country. EHV helps families locate rental housing and provides financial assistance to make their rent affordable.

Notify your current provider that you want to transfer, AND contact the Control Center at 12010800201047620100199 to receive an approved transfer date. You must get approval from the Control Center, and your new provider must receive written authorization from the Control Center before you change providers.

The SC Voucher Program (formerly ABC Voucher) makes child care more affordable for families in need by making all or a portion of provider payments directly to child care providers so parents can work or attend school or training.More than 1,500 child care providers across the state are enrolled to accept vouchers.

Families must be income eligible (up to 200% State Income Standard) and meet one of the following reasons for care: Working a minimum of 10 hours per week at minimum wage or above. Participating in an approved educational/vocational training. Looking for work.

A voucher permits families to receive subsidized care for childcare services outside of the ACS-funded program and payments are sent directly to the childcare provider. Voucher size is based on income and household size, and a client must re-certify each year.
