Click and drag your mouse across a section of text to edit it. Alternatively, press "Ctrl-A" to select all text in the text box. Typing text replaces currently selected text with whatever you type.

Click the shape or text box that you want to add a fill to. To add the same fill to multiple shapes or text boxes, click the first one, and then press and hold SHIFT while you click the others. To add or change a fill color, click the color that you want, or to choose no color, click No Fill.

As you no doubt have noticed, the online Word editor doesn't support the insertion of text boxes. To insert the text box, click on the Editing pull-down button at the right end of the Word online menu bar. From there select Open in desktop app.

Not sure if you Grouped the textboxes together. To Group: hold down the shift key and then select each textbox and then click the Group button in the Format tab under Drawing Tools. You should then be able to move all the textboxes at the same time.
