Go to Insert > Header & Footer. SelectOptions on the right side, and then select Different First Page. Select Options again, and then select Remove Page Numbers. To see your page numbers and confirm deletion of the number from the first page, go to View > Reading View.

How do I write a Codicil? You can handwrite or type a Codicil. It should state at the top it is a codicil, and make reference to the document it is altering. You should then describe the clause to be changed, and explain the changes.

Generally, you can revoke a will by (1) destroying the old will, (2) creating a new will or (3) making changes to an existing will. In some circumstances, simply giving away all or your property and assets before you die can have the effect of revoking a will (subject to estate tax penalties).

You can amend a will yourself but you must meet all legal requirements to do so effectively or the original will continues to take precedence. Will amendment can be done either by making a codicil or creating a completely new will.

The best way to revoke a codicil is to create, sign, and have properly witnessed a new codicil which states that it supercedes and revokes the earlier one and which also states what the testator (person making the will) wants--e.g. that your father will be the first executor.

A codicil is a supplement to an existing Will that makes some alterations but leaves the rest of the Will intact. It is a legal document that is as legally binding as the original Will.
