Concatenate Table Title For Free

Merge cells: To merge two or more cells, highlight them and then press the following keys at the same time: ALT H+M+M. Merge and center cells: If you would like to merge cells and center your text at the same time, you can highlight the cells and press these keys: ALT H+M+C.

Two tables can be concatenated using the Concatenation Window, which just requires you to specify the two tables to be joined, and for each column in the first ("Base") table, which column in the second ("Appended") table (if any) corresponds to it.

Note: If you are familiar with the format codes of numbers you will concatenate, you can apply the formula =CONCATENATE(A2, " ",TEXT(B2,"$#,##0.00);($#,##0.00)"), " ", TEXT(C2,"0.00%" )) and replace the format codes of $#,##0.00);($#,##0.00) and 0.00% based on your requirement.

The simplest way to combine two tables together is using the keywords UNION or UNION ALL. These two methods pile one lot of selected data on top of the other. The difference between the two keywords is that UNION only takes distinct values, but UNION ALL keeps all of the values selected.

In the table, drag the pointer across the cells that you want to merge. Click the Layout tab. In the Merge group, click Merge Cells.

Use the ampersand & character instead of the CONCATENATE function. The ampersand (&) calculation operator lets you join text items without having to use a function. For example, =A1 & B1 returns the same value as =CONCATENATE(A1,B1).

Go to the cell you want to link the reference cell, right click it and select > Paste Special > Linked Picture. See screenshot: Now the format and value of cell A1 is referenced to a specified cell. And the format and value of these two cells will be synchronic as below screenshot shown.

Select a cell where you want to enter the formula. Type =CONCATENATE( in that cell or in the formula bar. Press and hold Ctrl and click on each cell you want to concatenate. Release the Ctrl button, type the closing parenthesis, and press Enter.

Concatenation is an operation that combines two tables into one. The two tables are merely added to each other. That is, data is not changed and the resulting table contains the same number of records as the two original tables together.

Merging table headers Select any cell within the formatted range and then click the Table Design tab on the Ribbon. In Tools group, click the button called Convert to Range then click Yes. Your range will now be converted back to a normal range and you will now be able to merge the cells. The formatting will remain.
