How to insert a Date Picker Content Control in Word Click the Developer tab. Click the Date Picker content control in the Controls group. A Date Picker content control will appear in the document. Click the drop-down arrow and select a date from the calendar; if you want to add the current date, click the Today button.

On an Access form, use the Date Picker to enter the current date. If the field is set up as a Date/Time field, the Date Picker icon appears when you click in the field. Click the icon, and then click the Today button below the calendar.
