A settlement statement is a document that summarizes the terms and conditions of a settlement agreement between parties. Commonly used for loan agreements, a settlement statement details the terms and conditions of the loan and all costs owed by or credits due to the buyer or seller.

Procedure for Settling an Order If a decision directs an order to be settled, the prevailing party must submit a proposed order with proof of service to the court for signature within 60 days (or as otherwise stated by the court) after the decision is signed and filed (22 NYCRR § 202.48(a)).
