Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounting Vouchers / Inventory Vouchers > F8: Sales . Select the Party's A/c Name . Select the Name of Item . Enter the Quantity . Enter the Rate of the item in the required foreign currency. Press Enter to view the Forex Rate of Exchange screen, as shown below:

You can record a transaction with the following steps. A payment transaction for Rent expenses is used as an example. Press Alt+G (Go to) > Create Voucher > press F5 (Payment). Alternatively, Gateway of Tally > Vouchers > press F5 (Payment).

In the sub-screen, use Forex Gain/Loss adjustments = yes >> select the Forex gain & loss ledger and accept. In order to adjust the unadjusted forex gain/loss in the balance sheet, pass a journal entry.
