Remove a CheckBox on the Worksheet: Using Select Objects Go To Home tab, click Find & Select (Editing), click Select Objects. It is shown in the following screenshot. Now, select the checkbox objects which you wanted to delete. Press the Delete key to delete check boxes on the keyboard.

If you want to delete the checkbox, press and hold CTRL, click on the checkbox, and press DELETE on the keyboard. As a result, the checkbox is removed from the worksheet.

Click the Design Mode button in the Controls group. It should become highlighted. See if you can now select and delete the check box. Click Design Mode again to unhighlight it.

The simplest approach is to go to the Layout tab of the Ribbon & click the Selection Pane button in the Arrange group. You then can select them one or more at a time in the Selection Pane in order to delete them.
