Academic records received in any other condition, such as transcripts that arrive in an unsealed envelope, or that are emailed or uploaded by the student, or that are printed from the university portal, are not considered official.

On your Mac, open the document you want to save as a PDF. Choose File > Print. Click the PDF pop-up menu, then choose Save as PDF. Choose a name and location for the PDF file.

You should create and upload a PDF of the transcript issued to you by the registrar at your institution. If the transcript is issued to you in a sealed envelope, it is acceptable for you to open it for the purpose of uploading.

The PDF transcript is the same as an official paper transcript and should not be altered in any way, including the color(s). If you do not have a color printer and the graphics are not printing, make sure you print using the grayscale option rather than black and white. Order your transcript online.

An official PDF transcript will be authentic and secure for a recipient regardless of which delivery method you choose.

When you are ready to send a transcript, you simply sign onto your Clearinghouse secure account, upload the file, and specify the recipient (consult the registry to obtain the recipient's identification number and file type). Each time you successfully upload a file, you will receive a confirmation email.

Obtain an electronic version of your transcript or scan a copy of your transcript. Scan your transcript at the lowest resolution that will result in a legible document (we recommend 200 dpi or less). Scanning documents in color is not necessary. For best results, scan in gray scale or black and white.
