Cut Required Field Form For Free

1. Required attribute: If you want to make an input mandatory to be entered by the user, you can use the required attribute. This attribute can be used with any input type such as email, URL, text, file, password, checkbox, radio, etc. This can help to make any input field mandatory.

Click in your Word document wherever you wish to insert a Form Field. On the Legacy Forms menu click the first icon to insert a Form Field. Right-click on the Form Field and select Properties. Then provide a name for the field in the Bookmark section.

In your form builder account, click on any field in your Form Editor to open its Edit Field panel on the left side of the page. Tick the checkbox Required field and an asterisk will appear next to the label of the form field. The field is now required and visitors can't submit the form without filling it in.

On each form, mandatory fields must be clearly indicated: A distinctive sign ( symbol, mandatory mention, etc.)If a symbol is used to declare mandatory fields, a statement placed at the beginning of the form must indicate that the symbol stands for a mandatory field.

When someone tries to register, they get the notification Please fill in all required fields even if they have already done so. They are only able to submit the form if all of the required fields are removed.

Press CTRL+A on your keyboard to select all the text within the document. Right-click, then click Toggle Field Codes. Press CTRL+SHIFT+F9 on your keyboard. This will remove the field codes, replacing them with the text they contained.
