Delete Email Transcript For Free

Transcript editing is only available for recordings that were saved in Microsoft Stream. If your Teams org has already chosen to save recordings to OneDrive and SharePoint, this option will not yet be available. However, you will still be able to delete a recording.

Deleting a Single Transcript File Click the transcript file's ellipsis (...) icon, and then select Delete. In the deletion confirmation pop-up, click the Yes button.

The transcription is stored together with the meeting recording in OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online cloud storage. Reference the Teams cloud meeting recordings documentation from Microsoft for more details. After the meeting ends, the transcription is available when opening the original meeting.

Delete a meeting recording in Teams In Teams, go to the recording in the chat history and click More options. > Open in Microsoft Stream. On the Microsoft Stream portal, click. > Delete.

Microsoft Team has a transcription feature that gives a written record of spoken text and identifies each speaker in the meeting. The transcript is shown during the meeting which can be hidden and available to download after the meeting has ended. Note: Transcription is only available in scheduled meetings.

Files that you upload in a one-on-one or group chat are stored in your OneDrive for Business folder and are shared only with the people in that conversation. You can access them from the Files tab in the chat, the Files page in Teams, and your OneDrive mobile app.

The meeting organizer can delete the transcript. Open the meeting and go to Recordings & Transcripts. to delete the transcript.
