Delete Initials Transcript For Free

Transcript editing is only available for recordings that were saved in Microsoft Stream. If your Teams org has already chosen to save recordings to OneDrive and SharePoint, this option will not yet be available. However, you will still be able to delete a recording.

Go to the Teams channel where the meeting occurred. (In the example pictured below, it's the General channel.) Select the Files tab. Go into the Recordings folder to view video recordings.

I Hope this can help some of you. I have found a way to delete the meeting recording (within Teams). Only the person who initiated the recording can delete the recording. This person will need to 'Join' the meeting again > Click 'Show conversation' icon and locate the recording > click the 3 dots and select Delete.

After the meeting, the saved transcript is available for reference and download in Teams on the desktop and web.

The transcription is stored together with the meeting recording in OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online cloud storage. Reference the Teams cloud meeting recordings documentation from Microsoft for more details. After the meeting ends, the transcription is available when opening the original meeting.

Select your profile icon in the top-right corner. That opens a drop-down menu. Choose your profile picture icon. While it says ?Change Profile Picture,? it will let you change your display name too.

Go to Home > Dictate dropdown > Transcribe. In the Transcribe pane, select Upload audio. Choose an audio file from the file picker. Transcribe currently supports .

Delete the transcript Open the meeting and go to Recordings & Transcripts. Select Delete. to delete the transcript.

Microsoft Team has a transcription feature that gives a written record of spoken text and identifies each speaker in the meeting. The transcript is shown during the meeting which can be hidden and available to download after the meeting has ended. Note: Transcription is only available in scheduled meetings.

If you want to hide your full name on Microsoft Teams, you have the option to change your display name that is visible to other users. All you have to do is edit your profile and save the changes.
