Delete Line Settlement For Free

Once a settlement receiver has been used in a settlement SAPgui will not allow it to be deleted from the settlement rule. To make the change, put an end date on that settlement rule (To Period / To Fiscal Year fields) and create a second rule using the new receiver, including the From Period / From Fiscal Year fields.

The settlement type key refers to the business transaction in automatic clearing postings. It is used in Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable to determine the payment allocation rules or settlement rules.

To delete rules In the contents list of the Rules module, select the rules you want to delete. Select Edit Delete . A confirmation message appears. Click: Yes to confirm that you want to delete. No to cancel.

Creating a Settlement Rule Choose Settlement rule in the master data maintenance for the relevant sender object.You maintain settlement rules in Customizing under Controlling Internal Orders Actual Postings Settlement Maintain Settlement Profiles . Choose Edit New rule.

Settlement Rule (SAP Library - Plant Maintenance (PM)) Defines what proportion of the costs on a sender should be settled to which receiver(s). For this, one or more distribution rules are assigned to each settlement sender.

You previously had to maintain the settlement rule for internal orders manually. Now the system can automatically generate settlement rules for internal orders . Choose Settlement rule in the master data maintenance for the relevant sender object. The Maintain Settlement Rules: Overview screen appears.

Settlement is the process where the actual costs incurred for a WBS element, network, or activity are allocated, in whole or in part, to one or more receivers. In the process, offset entries crediting the project are generated automatically. The debit postings remain in the receivers after settlement.
