Deposit Bates Title For Free

Bates is committed to providing educational access for all students so our financial aid is need based. Bates meets 100% of demonstrated financial need for admitted students who qualify for aid, regardless of citizenship status.

The application fee for Bates is U.S. $60, and can be submitted via the Common Application or Coalition Application. Eligible students can obtain and submit a fee waiver from the Common Application, Coalition Application, ACT, College Board, or NACAC.

You can submit your $300 enrollment deposit through your Bates Application Status Page. You can also mail your enrollment deposit to Lindholm House at: 23 Campus Avenue, Lewiston, ME 04240.

While your college essay is being combed over by everyone you know, ask them also to take a look at your short responses and supplemental essays (though remember?we do not have a supplemental essay at Bates!).

It's your opportunity to connect one-on-one with a Bates community member, and to ask the deeper and specific questions that will help you determine if Bates aligns with your interests and aspirations. Conversations are not interviews, and they are both optional and informational ? meaning you are not being evaluated.

Bates meets the full demonstrated financial need for all admitted students, regardless of citizenship status, for all four years.

How Hard Is It to Get Into Bates College? Admissions to Bates College are extremely competitive. Bates received 7,696 applications to its Class of 2025 and admitted just 1,085?giving the college an overall acceptance rate of 14%. Bates has an Early Decision admissions process through which it received 838 applications.

Students and parents can pay by check or use a checking or statement savings account to pay online. Bates does not accept credit cards for payment of the student account. Payments made by check should be sent to Student Financial Services, 44 Mountain Avenue, Lewiston, ME 04240.

Early Decision I & II For students who decide that ?Bates is my first choice!,? applying Early Decision (ED) is a great option. ED is binding: ED applicants who are admitted to Bates agree to withdraw all applications to other colleges. Bates offers two rounds of ED applications, EDI and EDII.
