Show or hide the grid On the View tab, in the Show group, select or clear the Grid checkbox. Tip: The grid is not usually printed, but you can specify that you want it to print: right-click the page tab, click Page Setup, and on the Print Setup tab, select the Gridlines checkbox.

To find section breaks in your document, make sure the ?Home? tab is active and click ?Replace? in the ?Editing? section. You can also press ?Ctrl + H?. Select Home > Show/Hide . This will display non-printing characters?paragraph markers, section breaks, page breaks, etc. ?that you may want to see while you're working on your document. Double-click the page break so that it's selected, and then press Delete.

Word will automatically insert page breaks in your text depending on the size of paper you have selected; they may not be in the place you want them. You can't delete an automatically inserted page break, but you can manually insert one further up the page so that the new page starts where you want it to.

Page tabs are located in the lower left of a drawing window, and each tab displays the name of a page. Click a page tab to make the corresponding page active. To scroll through the page tabs, use the tab scrolling buttons to the left of the tabs.
