The meeting organizer can delete the transcript. Open the meeting and go to Recordings & Transcripts. to delete the transcript.

Step 1: Navigate to the Files tab in Teams, select OneDrive, and click Open in OneDrive. Step 2: In My files, open the folder Microsoft Teams Chat Files. Step 3: Navigate to Recycle bin, select the files to be restored, and click Restore.

Select the three dots next to the transcript file, select delete transcript and then delete to confirm the deletion. Once you have deleted the transcript from Teams you won't be able to upload the new version there but the new version will be accessible to users through Stream (on SharePoint).

Limitations. The transcript displays the official record of classes students enroll in during school, so most grades cannot be changed or removed. Courses changed before the drop/add date do not appear on the transcript, but any classes you do not drop after that date are part of the permanent record.

The recording owner (the person who started the recording) can edit the closed caption transcript after the recording has been uploaded to Microsoft Stream. > Open in Microsoft Stream. > Edit. Under Options, go to Captions and click Download file.

Delete a chat in Microsoft Teams (free) From the Chat tab, find the chat you want to delete. Note: You can delete one-on-one, group, and meeting chats. Tap and hold the chat. Tap Delete. and then confirm that you want to delete it by tapping OK. You'll then leave the meeting or chat.

In Teams navigate to the Team and then the Channel where the meeting took place. Click the files tab in that channel and select the Recordings folder followed by the View Only folder. Tick next to the recording you want to delete and click delete on the toolbar. Click delete again to confirm.

Microsoft Team has a transcription feature that gives a written record of spoken text and identifies each speaker in the meeting. The transcript is shown during the meeting which can be hidden and available to download after the meeting has ended. Note: Transcription is only available in scheduled meetings.
