To remove a page break you added in manually, click the Home tab. Click Show/Hide ¶ to display the page breaks in your document. Find the manual page break you want to remove and double click the page break to highlight it. Finally, hit the Delete or Backspace key to remove it.

You can't delete section breaks when Track Changes is turned on. To turn off Track Changes: Click the Review tab in the Ribbon. Click Track Changes in the Tracking group.

There are two types of page breaks: solid lines that are manually added page breaks, and dashed lines that are automatically added by Excel. The automatic page breaks are inserted by Excel based on several settings such as margin, scale, paper size and the manual page breaks that we insert.

Remove a manual page break Go to Home and select Show/Hide . This displays page breaks while you're working on your document. Double-click the page break to select it and then press Delete.

If you added section breaks to your document, the easiest way to see where they begin and end is to show formatting marks. Go to Home, and select Show all nonprinting characters. Select the section break and then press Delete.

Remove a page break from a Word document On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Show/Hide to show all formatting marks including page breaks. Double-click the page break to select it, then press Delete. Click Show/Hide again to hide the remaining formatting marks in the document.

Open a Google Doc. Click under the page break. On your keyboard, press Backspace or Delete until the page break is removed.
