Header condition types are manual condition types. These condition types can be entered manually in the sales order header level. After you enter,press the activate button. This will distribute the value of the condition type between all the line items present in the order.

Group Condition IS condition that will be applicable for more then one item in the sales document for that you have to activate field Group Conditionin condition type controls in V/06. Item Condition is applicable for only for pasrtticular item on sales document.

Header conditions are manal conditions and dont have teh Access sequence while the Item conditions have the access sequence. For Header condtions , you can maintain the value while processing the document , but for Item you can maintain the value either by condition records or by manuall entries.

Characteristics of header conditions This can be distributed proportionately on the basis of net value/weight/volume of the line item etc. This same amount can be applicable to all the lines separately.

Header condition does not have access seq. like item condition. So if you are working on header condition then you don't need to create condition record for that. Need to activate header condition check box in condition type while creating this condition type.
