Document Application - SOC Online For Free

If you live in Canada or the United States, send your application to the Case Processing Centre in Sydney (CPC-S). If you live outside Canada and outside the United States, send your application to the Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate responsible for your area.

Once you submit your online application for permanent residence, you can't send more documents through your account unless we ask for them. If we ask for a document, you'll get a message in your account. To upload a document: Sign in to your account.

To upload the documents in your account, follow these steps: Sign in to your IRCC Portal account. Scroll down to the View the applications you submitted section of your account screen. Click the Check full application status link. On the Application status screen, click the How to submit additional documents link.

You can upload any documents that you think may be helpful to your visa application, such as bank statements, employment contracts, or letters of reference. only upload documents after your biometrics appointment if you have new or updated documents that you did not submit with your initial application.

How to submit and view your documents online. You can use our secure upload tool to electronically submit supporting documents for your EI claim. Select "Upload documents" to launch the tool. Select "View my documents" to view a list of documents that you've already submitted and the date they were submitted.

The problem is with the form itself. Do not download the imm5257 form from your browser or any other site. Instead, download it directly from your cic account profile; simply click on the imm5257 form link provided and you will be able to upload it. I hope this approach works for you!

You can attach documents to your visa application after you have submitted and paid for your application, up until it is finalised. For some visa application types (Visitor and Temporary Work Short Stay Specialist) you will be required to attach documents before you proceed to pay and submit your application.
