In the Azure portal, go into your storage account to grant your web app access. Select Access control (IAM) in the left pane, and then select Role assignments. You'll see a list of who has access to the storage account.

In the App Service authentication settings section, leave Authentication set to Require authentication and Unauthenticated requests set to HTTP 302 Found redirect: recommended for websites. At the bottom of the Add an identity provider page, click Add to enable authentication for your web app.

On your Function App, click Authentication. Click Add provider to initiate the process of adding a new identity provider. Select Microsoft from the list of identity providers. Select Create new app registration to create a new application for the function in Azure AD.
