Hiding comments using Display for Review Click the Review tab in the Ribbon. In the Tracking group, click Display for Review. A drop-down menu appears. Select No Markup or Original to hide the markup area, including comments.

On the Review tab, in the Comments group, click the arrow below Delete, then click Delete All Comments in Document.

Open the document in Microsoft Word or another word processor. Move the mouse cursor to the beginning of the line of text you want to delete. Press and hold the left mouse button, then drag the mouse to the right until the entire line of text is highlighted. Press Backspace or Delete to delete the line of text.

You can also turn off the display of markup by using the Display for Review drop-down list, which is in the Tracking group, right above the Show Markup drop-down list. Using the Display for Review drop-down list, choose either No Markup or Original Document, and the markup all disappears.
