Edit Email Text For Free

In Mail, in the Navigation Pane, click Sent Items. Open the message that you want to recall and replace. On the Message tab, in the Actions group, click Other Actions, and then click Recall This Message. Click Delete unread copies and replace with a new message or Delete unread copies and replace with a new message.

Start Outlook. Double-click the message you want to edit to open the message in a separate window. Select Actions in the Move group. Choose Edit Message.

Go to Message > Actions > Edit Message. You can make whatever changes you'd like, like fix spelling mistakes or make annotations. When you close out of it, you'll be asked if you'd like to save your changes to the message. Click Yes.

Try it! Select the Sent Items folder. Select or double-click the message so it opens in another window. Select File > Info. Select Message Resend and Recall > Recall This Message..., and select one of the two options.Select the Tell me if recall succeeds or fails for each recipient check box. Select OK.

The truth is you cannot edit an email once it has been sent. Imagine your email as a letter you have put into a mailbox. Once the mail is picked up, you are unable to take back the letter.

Please do as follows: Open the Sent Items folder, and double click to open the specified sent email you will edit. Now the sent email is opening in the Message window.In the popping Recall This Message dialog box, please check the Delete unread copies and replace with a new message option, and click the OK button.

You can find many of these options by selecting File > Options. To view these options in Microsoft Outlook, in an email message, click File > Options > Mail > Editor Options > Advanced.
