Editing a Payment Go to the Invoices section. Tap on the Invoice. Scroll to the bottom to Payments for Invoice section and select the payment you want to modify. Edit the payment information as needed and tap Save to finish.

Editing Invoices In your Bill.com app, tap the menu icon in the upper left corner. Tap Invoices. Tap the invoice number you wish to edit. Tap the edit icon. Edit the invoice and tap Done.

Once sent, you can no longer edit the invoice directly, and a credit note must be issued instead.

Right-click on the document and choose the ?Edit? option from the dropdown menu to edit your PDF.

To correct a mistake on a handwritten invoice you have already given to a customer, write a corrected version, mail it with a note explaining the correction, and keep copies of both the incorrect and corrected invoices.

Generally, it is legal to amend an invoice that is missing information or includes an error. However you should never delete an invoice if this happens. It is important for auditing reasons that you hold onto records, even if they are incomplete or incorrect.

If you have already issued the invoice but the customer has not paid, send a friendly email or make a polite phone call explaining the mistake, and then issue a new invoice. If the customer has already paid, make a correction adjustment on a future invoice, or issue another invoice or credit correcting the mistake.
