Expand Bullets License For Free

The Hague Convention of 1899, Declaration III, prohibited the use in international warfare of bullets that easily expand or flatten in the body. It is a common misapprehension that hollow-point ammunition is prohibited by the Geneva Conventions, as the prohibition significantly predates those conventions.

Magazines are considered a component part in Northern Ireland and a firearms certificate holder may only possess magazines for firearms listed on their certificate. As of 2021, all magazines are required to be listed on firearms certificates.

You can legally own an air rifle which has a muzzle energy of below 12 ft lbs or a pistol below 6 ft lbs without a FAC ( fire arms certificate ) Any air rifle above this will require licensing - A pistol above 6 ft lbs is completely prohibited.

You can only possess ammunition of a kind that is capable of being discharged from a firearm registered or endorsed on a licence held by you. You can buy ammunition if you are the holder of a licence or permit for a firearm which takes that ammunition, or if you are authorised by the firearms registrar in writing.
