Certbot Request a new certificate using certbot renew --force-renewal command. We can specify domains using the -d option. For example, certbot -d cyberciti.biz,www.cyberciti.biz,test.cyberciti.biz --force-renewal. acme.sh Force to renew a cert immediately using the acme.sh -f -r -d www.cyberciti.biz.

Your configuration and certificates are always stored in /etc/letsencrypt/ . You can change this path by running certbot-auto with --config-dir /some/other-path/ , but private keys are always protected by 0700 permissions for whatever user you run certbot-auto as.

To add SANs to your multi-domain SSL/TLS certificate, you need to reissue your certificate. When reissuing an SSL/TLS certificate, you need to generate a new CSR. For more information about creating a CSR, see Create a CSR (Certificate Signing Request).

UPDATE: You can now do this by passing the --expand flag (see docs): --expand tells Certbot to update an existing certificate with a new certificate that contains all of the old domains and one or more additional new domains. See this answer for an example.

Follow the steps below. Select SSL Certificates, and next to the SSL certificate you want to change, select Manage. Select Change the site that your certificate protects. Select Move your certificate to one of your hosted domains, and then select the domain name you want to use.

Webroot authentication works by designating a folder which contents are available publicly. Certbot then places a file there then pings a remote server that tries to fetch it. If it is successful, then Let's Encrypt issues the certificate, as you've proven ownership of the domain.
