Expand Link Record For Free

It is important to link records when adding relationships, rather than just entering the name of the record in the Last name or Org name field, because linking indicates to the database that the relationship record is the same entity as the one being linked in the relationship.

Linked records are a powerful way of creating relationships between your data. You can use them to bring information from one field into another, or between multiple records, and even perform calculations between them.

To change the row height in your current view, click the row height switcher in the view bar, then select the desired row height. The shorter row heights allow you to see more records at once, whereas the larger row heights allow you to see more information per each record.

In the linked field, click the ?+? icon. Select the field I want to link it to. Press ?CTRL + C? Select the other records I want to update, press ?CTRL + V?

You can add a base to store all your data for a project, tables for specific projects, a record for items, and fields to add more content to your records. But unlike other spreadsheets apps, columns (fields) on Airtable allows you to add links, checkboxes, attachments, and more information on a record.

How to link two bases in Airtable. Currently, there is no way to link individual records to each other across bases. Instead, you can link multiple bases in Airtable together, which will copy the views (and all records within them) from one base to another.

A great way to implement this would be to have an ?Expand? (or similar) button up with the Filter, Group, and Sort dropdowns. Clicking it would automatically wrap the text adjust the row height to show the entire entries (would adjust to the longest entry.) Click it again to set everything back to neat, uniform rows.
