Find the code that controls the height of the footer. It will probably be a line of CSS code wrapped in a style attribute of a HTML element. Save the file and upload it back to the server. The changes should now be reflected on your website.

The trick is to use a display:table for the whole document and display:table-row with height:0 for the footer. Since the footer is the only body child that has a display as table-row , it is rendered at the bottom of the page.

Set margin on the footer. Because you set the Body ? the footer's parent element ? to Flex, you can set the top margin on the footer element to Auto. This makes the footer push away from the content above, causing the footer to stick to the bottom of the page.

This is done by setting the giving the body element min-height: 100vh , display: flex and flex-direction: column . Then, give the footer element a margin-top: auto to make its margin fill the remaining space between it and its previous sibling.

Switch to HTML source view.In the html template find the tags at the beginning of the formatted text (e.g. <P> or <FONT>).Save the changes.

You may see a gap under your footer on some screens. This appears because your site's content is shorter than the viewport height.
